Fairy MN1 is a 32ft Howard smack built in 1880.

Fairy was taken in by the CSPS after her previous owner had passed away. Fairy was picked up by a lowloader from Falmouth and delivered to Morgan’s in Brightlingsea. She was then launched and towed round to the smackdock. We have now found a new owner and custodian, Tom Curtis, who is going to rebuild her at his Dad’s yard – Kings Boatyard in Pin Mill. Tom has fitted a new sampson post so he can tow her round to the Orwell on a nice calm day in Spring.
