Emeline F14 is a 44ft Whitstable smack built in 1904.
The restored oyster smack, Emeline, was built for the Whorlow family. She dredged for oysters in the season, and then, towards the end of her working career, trawled for shrimps. She ceased fishing and was converted to a pleasure boat with a large wheelhouse in the 1950s. She then disappeared, turning up on the Costa del Sol. She eventually arrived back in Britain in 1994 and was restored in Faversham to her present state.
She is still based in Faversham, she regularly takes part in local East Coast events including the Swale Match.
